2013

Paediatric Surgery Practice in the Avenues Area, Harare

Initially a solo practice with one consultant, Paediatric surgical rooms joined by a younger partner, strengthening the idea of teamwork in paediatric surgical care of children.

2014

First Expansion

Practice moves to a new, spacious area in the Avenues area of Harare. The beginning of multispecialty co-practice with paediatricians, anaesthetists, general surgeons, and physicians in one complex.

2018

Paediatric Surgical Consultants Grows

A new partner joins the practice to become the 3rd paediatric surgeon in the team! The practice continues to grow in scope and expertise!

2021

Enhancing Growth in Group Practice

After a lot of background work and planning, Paediatric Surgical Consultants joins a newly formed multispecialty group practice. The paediatric surgical team becomes the anchor of all paediatric surgical work.

2026

Strengthening the Scope of Paediatric Surgical Services

Leveraging on their experiences in a multispecialty practice, the Paediatric Surgical Consultants take a stance looking beyond tomorrow in their quest to avail the best surgical care to children in Zimbabwe.

Important Update: Re-branding and Relocation Notice

Our Paediatric Surgery practice, formerly at Pioneering Health, is now Paediatric Surgical Consultants, and we’re moving!

We are excited to announce a significant new chapter for our Specialist Paediatric Surgery practice. As of January 2026, we will officially be re-branding from paediatric surgery at Pioneering Health to Paediatric Surgical Consultants.

This change reflects our expanded vision to broaden our services, better align with our core values, focus on innovation, and serve the children more. While our name and logo are changing, our commitment to providing you with the same advanced care you expect remains our top priority. Our specialist doctors and care teams remain the same.

In addition to our re-brand, we are also relocating to a new office space to accommodate our growth and better serve you.
